OUR MISSION STATEMENT
To help build the self-esteem of those living in battered women shelters, the elderly, developmentally disabled, displaced and the homeless in Durham NC, by providing transportation to and from the salon location (or in the privacy & safety of their own place of residence) to receive salon services geared toward promoting good health and hygiene, healing, nourishment, and beautifying of the hair, our crown and glory, while nurturing the spirit in a faith-based setting, at little to no cost to them. To adorn the hair of these individuals so that they will be driven to attain independence, emotionally and economically, believing that if we look better, we will feel better, and we will do better.
